Project Description
This has to rank close to the top of being a fun project to work on and was one of Steve’s earlier (2007-8) projects at WorkSafe Victoria (hence the use of Flash).
The brief was to build an interactive kiosk app that would be used on roadshows during one of WorkSafe’s Young Workers campaigns.
The proposal was to build an app which told the story of each of the four individuals cast in each of the four TVCs. The app would play each of the ads depending on which character was selected and highlight the dangers they faced as a young worker.
The app also highlighted the four main industries employing young workers and outlined the risks in each sector, then gave solutions of how to make the workplace safer for young workers.
The characters were first developed in a 3D application then animated to resemble the actions of the four workers, then the interactivity was brought together using Adobe Flash to add the touch screen and video capability.
