Project Description

The WorkHealth initiative (2012) is all about improving the health and wellbeing of Victorian workers and enabling employers to create safe, health promoting workplaces.

Building on WorkSafe Victoria’s strong record of ensuring all Victorian workers return home safe each day, WorkHealth aims to promote health, safety and resilience for Victorian workers to enjoy a high quality of life and contribute to a thriving Victoria.

WorkHealth is brought to you by WorkSafe Victoria and is part of the Victorian Government’s plan to improve the health of the Victorian workers and the productivity of workplaces.

The WorkHealth website had two builds, the first being prior to the program launch, where potentially interested parties could register, the second build was to support the actual program.

As this was an actual WorkSafe and Vic government initiative, WorkSafe had a huge part to play in research and build on the supporting website and initiatives.

Steve Wardle was an integral part of this entire process and was project manager for the digital side of the program. Steve was also lead in User Experience and played a role in design aspects. Steve was also the developer of the website, firstly on IBM WCM, and then on Squiz.
